Private Experience

Meet Filippo Fürst in an exclusive location to breathe and live the experience of custom, one of a kind fine jewelry designed exclusively for you.

Filippo Fürst

Was born in Rome to a dynasty of jewelers—the Fürst Family. He spent his childhood surrounded by beauty, both natural and historical. He has been raised to appreciate elegance and the ineffable mystery of female beauty. After attending a course on wax sculpting and jewelry setting in New York City, he moved to Florence to learn the secrets of traditional goldsmithing from Italian masters. Filippo has traveled worldwide, hunting for gems throughout Italy, the States, and Southeast Asia.

Beauty

Filippo's creations are not meant to go unnoticed. They are intended for powerful, confident, and independent women who are not afraid to show their personality and reveal their true selves, exalting their womanliness in a classical sense.

Truth

True beauty is timeless and original. While maintaining evident references to the past, and the great traditions of Italian jewelry-making, Filippo's style is distinctly imaginative. His pieces are classical yet modern objects of art, rich treasures that are recognizable as Fürst creations.

Nature

Nature is Filippo's first and purest inspiration. Sinuous lines, with a strong allusion to leaves, flowers, and undergrowth shape ethereal, almost fairy-like elements. Nature teaches us what beauty is: harmonious in its perfect symmetry yet ever-changing and seasonal. The forms of nature have been tested through centuries of evolution: there are golden sections in the shells of nautili, fractals in snowflakes, and ferns. The stone is the essence—its brilliance, clarity and color—and the metal, as a natural substance to be molded and to enhance, serves to support it and give shape to a complex and unique figure.

Fürst Family

The Fürst family is originally Austro-Hungarian. In the 1850s, Moric Fürst decided to move to Turin to establish his business as a Jeweler. It was in his newfound home, Italy, that he opened a retail store in the Subalpine Gallery, becoming a leading supplier for the Savoyard court.
Between 1861 and 1865, Turin became the capital of Italy and the center for gold and precious stones. In Turin, Moric had nine children, five of whom would become Jewelers. His son Renzo Emanuele took over the atelier. As he continued the business, Renzo had five children. Three of them, Maurizio, Renzito, and Franco, pursued the family business and opened shops in Rome, Genoa, and Milan. During the post-war period, and as their popularity grew, the Fürst stores became a household name as creators of rare and unique pieces handcrafted exclusively in their laboratory for select customers and Hollywood royalty. Their Rome store, situated in glamorous Via Veneto, was the embodiment of the Italian dolce vita.
